Our Beginning. Our Mission.

Officially established in 2015, after years of working in television and film, Emily, The Knot's Artistry's founder, decided it was time for something more- luxury salon services, that could be provided both in salon and en suite. The idea had been taking hold for quite some time, and it sprouted to life and took root in beautiful Tofino BC. Over time, The Knot Artistry team has grown, allowing us to service Vancouver Island, the surrounding Gulf Islands, to Vancouver and Whistler and beyond.

The Knot Artistry offers day of bridal services, esthetic services, occasion hair and makeup, fashion/video and commercial makeup, and so much more. Whether you are at home, visiting a resort or vacation rental, you can relax and enjoy the process as our talented team of stylists arrive bringing the salon with them, to get you ready. 

Each Knot Artistry stylist has been professionally educated though schooling, training, courses or apprenticeship. Each year, we continue our education in the beauty industry with the latest techniques and product knowledge. 

Our mission is to deliver excellent services to every one of our clients, while making sure everyone enjoys the process! Our beauty kits are constantly being updated, and we carry a variety of products from various lines. All products and tools used are cruelty free and ethical. We love our furry friends and our environment, and believe each person can make an impact on this beautiful planet. Our clients should feel ecstatic about the services we deliver, confident with how they look, and pleased about the products and tools we use.
